कषायोष्णविकाशित्वाद्रूक्षत्वाच्च कफे हितम् ।
वाते स्वाद्वम्लसान्द्रत्वात्सद्यस्कमविदाहि तत् ॥ ५ ॥
For sufferers of Grahani (duodenal dysfunction), buttermilk is suited due to its properties akin to Dipana (kindling the digestive energy), water absorbing, and lightness. Owing to the candy post-digestion impact, it doesn’t worsen Pitta. Since it’s astringent (in style), scorching (in efficiency), dilating the channels (tissue Pores) and dry (non-unctuous) it’s good for Kapha. Attributable to candy and bitter tastes, it’s good for Vata. By its thick consistency, contemporary origin it doesn’t trigger burning sensation (throughout or after digestion).
