Day 7 of my Autumn New England Highway Journey (with a toddler) began the day by driving via Smuggler’s Notch—it’s a brief and tremendous windy drive via a mountain cross that’s significantly lovely.
Useful Tip: Get began on the drive as straightforward as potential. Visitors is infamous throughout foliage season so we hit the highway at 7am and had it to ourselves!
We then spent your complete day exploring nature trails and hanging with animals at @trappfamilylodge, an Austrian-inspired mountain lodge with 300 acres of farmland in the course of Stowe.
